In times such as these they answer the call
To defend our freedom and serve for us all United as one, they stand proud and tall They never back down and fight 'till they fall To live in this country, the price that they pay Ensuring our freedom's not taken away The heart of this nation beats unafraid Great land of the free and the home of the brave Heroes today don't wear cowboy hats No longer ride horses like in the past But they're still dodging bullets for the U S of A They're everyday people turned Heroes Today Lady of Liberty holds her torch high Our buildings stand tall and Old Glory flies With honor and courage, their lives on the line They march into danger and battle with pride For their safe return, together lets pray Raise our glass and tip our hats to Heroes Today Oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave for Heroes Today  |

I receive each and every time I perform this song is overwhelming, not to mention that I am honored to pay tribute to the
